HOW I WORK

Integrative, relational, and deeply attuned to who you are

MY VALUES

An inclusive, non-pathologising, neuro-affirming space

I am committed to working inclusively, with cultural humility, a neuro-affirming stance, and a non-pathologising approach.

This means I don't assume a single "normal" way of thinking, feeling, or being in the world.

THE FOUNDATION

Healing happens through connection

I believe healing happens through connection — when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and met as you are.

At the heart of my work there is deep curiosity in what it means for you.

We all move through periods of emotional pain, overwhelm, or loss of direction. My role is to walk alongside you as we gently make sense of what's happening and create space for change, if that is what you long for.

Our relationship becomes a place where new perspectives can be explored and new ways of being in contact with yourself can be co-created — with curiosity rather than judgement, and with respect for your pace and boundaries.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Active, cooperative, and embodied

Therapy with me is active and cooperative.  Rather than simply talking about difficulties, we work together to make sense of your experience — attending to the body, emotions, and lived experience, not just thoughts.

This includes making sense of the protective strategies you may have developed — people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional shutting down — and learning to relate to them with curiosity rather than criticism, so your vitality and expressiveness can gradually come back online.

MY APPROACH

IFS (Internal Family System)

A central focus of my work is helping clients feel more attuned to their inner world — their thoughts, beliefs, emotional responses, and relational patterns. This awareness becomes a foundation for choice, flexibility, and self-trust.

ADDITIONAL MODALITIES

Alongside IFS, I draw on

I integrate and weave techniques according to what best fits your needs, history, and goals.

WHO I WORK WITH

Areas of support

I work with adults navigating a range of challenges — emotional, relational, and physical.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): exploring links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.

CFT (Compassion Focus Therapy): developing self-compassion, especially where self-criticism runs deep.

DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy): building skills in emotional regulation and distress tolerance

Psychodynamic Exploration: exploring underlying emotional patterns and their roots in past experiences and relationships.

Polyvagal Exercises: supporting nervous system regulation through awareness, movement, breath, and connection.

Central to my integrative practice is Internal Family Systems (IFS) — a powerful model that understands the mind as made up of different "parts," each carrying its own feelings, beliefs, and protective roles.

IFS offers a compassionate framework for understanding why we think, feel, and behave as we do — and for building a more grounded, caring relationship with ourselves from the inside out

Sessions in English and Italian. I warmly welcome clients who have relocated from Italy — bringing an understanding of what it means to build a life between two cultures.

Whether you are neurodivergent, hold a marginalised identity, or simply feel that mainstream spaces have never quite held you — you are welcome here, exactly as you are.

Together, we explore healthier ways of coping with past and future distress — at a pace that respects your boundaries and strengths. You are never pushed further or faster than feels right for you.
