About me

My name is Giorgia, and I am a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with a strong commitment to compassionate, integrative care.
I began my academic journey in 2011 at the University of Bologna (Italy) and later continued my training at London South Bank University, where I expanded my clinical and theoretical foundation within an international context.
Throughout my professional career, I have worked with adults, children, and young people across a range of settings, including private and public mental health services, charities, schools and currently in private practice.
Working with adults
I work with adults navigating a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, low mood, trauma-related experiences, work and life transitions, relationship difficulties, and questions around identity, inclusion, and belonging.
I have a particular interest in working with people who recognise people-pleasing patterns in themselves and feel somewhat disconnected from their own needs or from others, and I support clients in reconnecting with themselves and creating more space for ease, authenticity, and aliveness in their lives.
Working with children and young people
I have experience working with children and adolescents presenting with challenging behaviours, special educational needs, developmental differences, and learning disabilities.
I am also a qualified Children’s Yoga Teacher, and I often integrate movement and body-based practices as expressive and regulating tools.
Currently I work with 18+ only.
Therapeutic approach
My training includes a range of evidence-based and depth-oriented approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Polyvagal-informed work, and psychodynamic techniques.
This allows me to work integratively, adapting my approach to each person’s unique needs, pace, and goals.
In my private practice, I work with adults, offering individual and group therapy in a collaborative, respectful, and psychologically safe space.
